Ligero is a tobacco leaf that grows high on the plant. This means it is relatively young when harvested and therefore strong and oily. The La Flor Dominicana Ligero Cabinet Oscuro is a blend that showcases the nature of that leaf. While a medium-full to full strength blend, the tobacco has been aged and matured to retain its strength, but smooth out any edginess, and leave you with a rich and potent profile.
This cigar should be smoked after a good meal, and probably after lunch or later. The blend has sufficient oil and strength that you can lay them down for as long as you wish and they will only improve with age.
